What are people's plans? We are dying to get abroad but realise it probably won't happen.

When this is all over, will it make you want to go to the place you always wanted to visit, life is short and all that?

We are thinking Japan or South Korea. Using the time to save and dreaming!

I have to fly soon I’m dreading it. But once I get there I’m making the most of it and going to do what I need to do then have a good time.

In terms of holidays I want to go to Vietnam and continue with the plans I already had like Oman and mooch around the Emirates.

I’ve written off this year entirely but on the plus side it means I get to save my cash and leave so hoping the world will open up next year.

I took a gamble recently and booked a flight to Cape Town in January. If all goes to plan then it’ll be Fiji in October’21. Am still hoping my Race Across the World application has a chance too

A wet market is any market that sells fresh fish or meat.

So. Pretty much all over the World.

Including that one in your local town.

Sometimes "wet market" implies live animals and fish.

That's what I understood to be the driving force behind the media banging on about the market being a "wet market" the whole time.

Just remember if you go abroad for 2 weeks you need to book an additional 2 weeks for isolation, better to spend money in UK and get back on your feet

I am booked for Bali at the beginning of September but don't know if that will go ahead. I love the bustle of Bali and the crazy amount of scooters but I mainly go for the diving.

We are currently booked to fly to Spain on the 1st of June but obviously that's not going to happen. We haven't contacted the airline or hotel yet, we are considering seeing if we can rebook for September but we're not sure yet.

Stockport

I've never particularly liked air travel, i find it uncomfortable and stressful. Not the concept of flying as such, but the aggro of airports, baggage searches, being packed into a tin can, losing luggage, long immigration control queues - there's just nothing pleasant in the whole door-to-door experience. And now that it is actually a real health danger, i cannot see myself doing that again for the sake of a holiday at any time in the near future.

The last few times that I've flown have been when reluctantly dragged along on group holidays with friends and family, and then it has taken me days to relax after getting there, and sometimes on return home I've felt more fucked than if i hadn't had a holiday.

So for me it's going to be holidays in the UK, somewhere that i can drive to, with wide open spaces that i can either be alone or be with close friends.

Aeroplanes are what has allowed this spread of covid-19.

Holidays abroad need to be damned way down for environment reasons too.

Can't have all the cake & eat it without cost somewhere.

"I have to fly soon I’m dreading it. But once I get there I’m making the most of it and going to do what I need to do then have a good time.

In terms of holidays I want to go to Vietnam and continue with the plans I already had like Oman and mooch around the Emirates.

Vietnam is amazing, you will love it.

I’ll agree with u, Vietnam is tops but if u get the chance get to Laos ... "

Or Cambodia
