"We got the highest rate of deaths “in the world” & some are still asking to meet don’t some value their lives then just for sex are you crazy! I also think it’s to soon for any restrictions to be lifted anyone else agree? " I suspect they are time wasters anyway, the type that never turn up. Unlike the top scientist & govt adviser that broke the rules as he thought he was immune!

"We got the highest rate of deaths “in the world” " The UK doesn't have the highest death rate in the world. The official UK death rate is below Belgium, Spain and Italy who all have more deaths per 100,000 population However, that is not the whole story as there is no standardization of measurement between countries. Some are just counting those that have definitely died because of CV19. Others are counting them if CV19 is present even if they died of falling down the stairs. No one has a clue of actual Covid-19 deaths in the UK the figures are so 'dodgy'. All those propaganda Nightingale hospitals had, to all intents and purposes, no patients. There is no saying that a vaccine will be successful - nobody has created one for a Coronavirus yet (as opposed to flu) and if one does become available it may take years. The virus will take it's natural course anyway and is only possibly slowed by 'lockup'. Air pollution kills 40,000 every year in the UK and not a single vehicle 'lockdown' at the behest of the population. Meanwhile collateral deaths due to lockdown are soaring due missed appointments, screening, mental health issues etc. What is your plan? To stay locked down forever whilst some workers provide you with food and supplies? Because it isn't going away until (and if) there is a vaccine or herd immunity.

"Do people seriously think that when lockdown is lifted, everything will be back to normal? Haircuts, shagging, meeting friends, walking down the street. The nightingales aren't full - YET. " yes I would be doing all of those things once lock down is lifted and a few more. To be fair meeting friends and family top of the list. Ive provisionally booked in for a hair cut in 3 weeks today and a full colour. As for sex.. yea I shall be meeting one of the other fwb I have once lockdown is lifted enough to permit it. We cant stay in lockdown forever and I'll be straight out there... let'sface it.. I've been out in the community day in day out anyway... so its hardly an extra risk to me. In fact once lockdown lifts a little and people can travel a few of the special needs people I'm helping will have more assistance and I will be at less risk. Hugs will be so welcomed asap

Guess what.....it'll be Covid 20 time. Just when we thought it was safe.

"A figure can be totally interpreted different ways..are other countries reporting deaths the same way ? Because there is no medicines to help increase survival why are Britons dying faster it's not from lack of care or medical treatment think some countries are only reporting deaths from covid 19 if they didnt have other serious conditions or illness. We report it as a death whilst suffering from covid 19 and covid 19 might not be the full cause of death only a factor..by stating we have the highest death rate you've condemned the nhs which is a fantastic and world leading medical system to being a 3rd rate system which it definitely is not.." What a bullshit post, no where did OP mention let alone criticise the NHS. Everyone knows that frontline care workers are working around the clock and to the best of their ability to deal with this crisis. The problem, as very well you know, is that Johnson and the government didnt put restrictions in early enough, nor did they stock up on the needed supplies when they were first alerted to the fact that covid was spreading in Europe. What a shitty accusation to throw out, you should be embarrassed for yourself.

"The UK doesn't have good information on the amount of people infected, as detailed testing hasn't been done. We shouldn't relax until we quantify the problem outside of hospitals and care homes. " If more testing is done, does that bring the r value down?

"I dont think that is the true number of deaths just from the covid. I have heard that normal ones not from covid is included in the total, which gives a false representation of what is really going on, but yes the lockdown should continue and I have heard it will be a new way of life at least 10 years more with restrictions." We’ve all heard ‘things’, things that are unclear things that the measure seems to change day by day. I agree I don’t think the death figures are reliable. When the government, who see fit to tell we can’t leave our homes, etc., cannot act in a way that is honest, transparent, supportive and informative, the classic, 100k tests.... “oh yes we sort of did it on 30th April as we said we would”... while it’s absolute shite!, I do not believe anything the half wits tell me.... anything!

"As soon as this lockdown was put into placw I was dreading it. I find it difficult to work from home as there's too many distractions and the thought of not being able to socialise with friends and family and got out for meals etc was awful. However, those things can be put on hold in the name of health. I'd rather sacrifice those things in order to have my health. Short term pain, long term gain. This lockdown should remain for a while longer, we don't want a second wave and the more people that get together in groups (even more so with not being able to see friends and family after so long) the more chance there is of this getting worse. " You're an athletic 34 year (although that may be in fab years) you have more chance of falling down the stairs than being hurt by covid. Get some nuts.
