Stock piled UHT milk. Living on a boat we have a small fridge so relied on UHT in the cupboard and then put opened cartons in the fridge. For the first couple of weeks we couldn't get any (our local Co-OP hasn't had any at all yet) and Sainsbury's ration you to three cartons so we still can't buy a weeks worth.

Liverpool

I knew it was coming. I visited both my parents and also spent a solid 24 hours with the guy I'd been seeing. We spent it in almost constant physical contact, went for a walk, watched a film and of course had plenty of sex . It's still tough but I'm glad I did what I did. I've been video calling with my dad and trying to regularly text with my mum but she's working in ITU so I'm not surprised she's not overly responsive.

I feel like I went in pretty prepared. The thing that makes me laugh still is that I impulsively bought a PS2 three weeks before I had to self isolate which was a week before lockdown. I have plenty of colouring stuff to occupy me and I bought a Kindle as a Christmas present to myself in December. I also had two weeks worth of Pepsi Max in the fridge at the time too.

It's shallow but I wish I'd had more time with the guy who I work with that I'm sleeping with. He had to self isolate when I did so it's weird not seeing him for so long. We won't be able to see each other until our work opens again and that'll be for quite a while yet.

Lovely area as long as you,ve got your local shop nearby I went and stayed there for two weeks with parents In mid eighties the pace of life was so different compared to down here, I did miss the deciderous trees and green fields thou between there and Inverness you saw hardly any.

2 chest freezers in the garage and big shop at Inverness Tesco, and by big I mean 3 months worth over winter. When that bridge got closed you were stuck. Local shop was ok during summer but trying to get anything from coop in winter was hard as hell.

I knew it was going to happen here as it happened down south 2 weeks beforehand.

I got my hot tub chemicals on amazon thankfully

Tried to get heavier weights but couldn't get them delivered and the rowing machine I got on amazon has a wonky leg but company not replied to requests yet

I'd have found someone to go into lockdown with. Its hell on earth on my own.

The bridge hardly ever gets closed, not even once per year, and the Co-op has everything Tesco's has..plus Tesco and ASDA vans deliver. Sorry if that makes you regret your move even more

And the other fella must have gone the wrong way to Inverness, millions of trees on the Loch Ness road
