I've not watched big brother in years, but I can fully appreciate being locked in a house with people I don't know. I can see why watching people slowly going mad is a form of 'entertainment'.

But you have to think, nice house, but no privacy, no internet, are they allowed books?, no phones or communication to the world.

Can you imagine if you started big brother when lock down started, and you didn't know?

Big brother is still being produced in other countries. I saw a couple of videos from germany and canada were the production staff told the contestants about the virus and the lockdowns in their countries.

The canada version told them that due to the social distancing they were stopping the show and sending the people home.

I was thinking about Big Brother the other day while making a shopping list.

My luxury item was a big bar of Cad's Chocolate.

My tasks, watching all the Covid 19 updates and doing the garden.

It could be some small consolation knowing afterwards that the public were also locked in, after you don't win as well as fail to become even a z-list celebrity.

Fabs ShagTonight should have been in the UK version

I don't think not having books is much of a hardship for the average big brother housemate.

Think we all know his luxury item would be a giant bag of haribos!
