"At this point it's impossible to predict for how long these measures may last. There's insufficient knowledge about the actual lethality of the virus, it's rate of transmission, origin and number of strains etc. There's not even a clear consensus regarding the best strategy to deal with this. Most have opted for radical restrictions, while for example, Sweden has not. Time will tell who made the better call. What I do know is serious civil unrest awaits if things carry on as they are for several more weeks. The top down decisions have been a death knell for many businesses through no fault of their own and have ruined the livelihood of millions. Mix that with some heavy handed approaches we've seen by authorities with regards to activities until now considered perfectly normal, and you have a perfect storm. It's not looking pretty " Yep. Might open a vape shop having just read this..... https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/apr/22/french-study-suggests-smokers-at-lower-risk-of-getting-coronavirus A | |||
