Hey guys, so lockdown has seemingly turned us into friendly community spirited folk. (I even smiled at a neighbour the other day)

So we’re now doing a fundraising event for a mental health charity and as part of this are doing a live streamed music gig this weekend and lots of little raffles this week!

Obviously we’d like to get lots of people involved but I’m not sure how clever it is to open up my personal Facebook to the world of Fab! (I say personal, it’s a business page but you get my drift.

Thoughts?

Is it worth the risk because lots of people would like to take part therefore increasing our ability to raise funds for the charity or just not worth the potential stalker issues?

I think your intentions are admirable but i wouldn't open up your personal detaails on here there are some lovely genuine discreet people but also a lot of bitter nutters not worth the risk in my opinion.

Great concept, away from an area of thousands of unknown people who could want to use their power of intimate knowledge against you or others, I'm sorry to think.

Consider if there are some similar ways that you could draw others in, where such risks are removed, is my suggestion.

There are certainly huge numbers of fantastic, considerate and generous people here but filtering out unforeseen danger is likely impossible.

Local BBC radio etc have been good resources during this crisis - this may be a route that could help you to reach many people too.
