"After all this is over(if it ever is over) what do you think you will take from it? " Too early to give any definite answers as it's only just starting.

"That the Government have done an amazing job in the face of adversity against a virus that was not their doing! Yes perhaps some things could have been done better, lessons will be learnt, but what an effort by the Government and the NHS. Finally, amazing the amount of negative armchair critics here - hindsight is the worlds best science. " Agreed!

"After all this is over(if it ever is over) what do you think you will take from it? " To always keep 250 spare bog rolls in the attic. But seriously, time away from everything is good for some perspective. I've thought about people and things I miss. I'll spend more time with those I like, and doing the things I enjoy doing

The former has always been like that but is held together better than ever ATM by the latter. Who sadly in a very British way will be subservient to the Tories again despite the way they treat them.

Finally, amazing the amount of negative armchair critics here - hindsight is the worlds best science. " They couldn't have been much worse Didn't plan and organise medical resources from January, nor an effective plan for how to manage it. Stumbled in to March and proclaim herd immunity as the solution, despite no evidence it is possible and that potentially hundreds of thousands of people would die - and overload the NHS, leaving it unable to help save other's lives. All whilst ignoring WHO recommendations. It's just about the most shameful behaviour from a government. I've learned how pitifully inept and morally deficient many senior government members are. I've also been improving my plant propagation skills, for charity fundraising

The NHS has performed brilliantly, but the government did too little too late and its leadership has been woefully inadequate. That is why the UK is on course for the highest death rate in Europe.
