Since we’ve gone into all these restrictions, the weather (at least in NW England where I am) has been stunning.

It’s probably just coincidence (or Sod’s law) but I have wondered whether the reduced pollution as a result of our Covid-19 restrictions has played some part.

Thoughts?

The only certain aspect of April's weather is its uncertainty . Sun, rain/floods, snow...

Just enjoy.

Perhaps the reduced pollution is letting the atmosphere cool a little and things are starting to fall back to where they should be?

Probably not, but I like to think so.

Whatever the reason, it’s very welcome at the moment!

We have had about 1 day of rain since they closed the Schools here.

The sunshine has made such a big difference being home with the kids, we have been able to get in the garden every day and they have burnt off energy playing footie, outdoor badminton, rounders, and just messing around.

Being in the sunshine has also been a boost for my mental health, which is a bit up and down at the moment.

I’m very thankful for the good weather AND for having a garden. Others aren’t so lucky.

Also boosts vitamin D. A lot of research into the higher proportion of BAME deaths is looking at their lower levels of vit D.

It's not a cure btw. But seems to aid in reducing severity of symptoms....

Probably where some of the crackpot ideas about sunshine itself being a cure. Vit D helps your immune system tho...
