Just had a thought, they say they want to get to 100,000 tests a day and are struggling to do this.

Doesnt this mean itll take roughly 2 years to test everyone ?

I think what will happen eventually is that testing will be everywhere.

you will have drive through test sites like ones starting in the states for those going across state lines.

but also I can see supermarkets getting in on it and having walk in testing areas.

the latest test gives results in 15 minutes but that's not here yet and because of this 2 million are now tested in the US.

all we can do Is wait. every country will want the best test available.

but when it is available your health centre, drug store, and some places of social gathering may well have testing on site to promote there businesses as safe places to come.

lets hope its soon

Significantly greater testing volumes have to be ready ASAP

the virus will not be eradicated, the human race will have to learn to live with it just as we do many others.

Different places have different tests and it can be a long time consuming process from start to finish

yes I think you are correct here.

south korea is reporting people previously infected are being re-infected so it will have to be vacinations that deal with this.

well its always best to remember this virus is not killing everyone.

every death is sad of course, but its kill rate is a lot lower than the media will have you think.

follow the rules, social distancing and you are doing what you can.

As I've been pointing out these tests aren't reliable due to them detecting other corona viruses in the sample

People who have tested positive and none of the severe symptoms of covid19 is in all likelihood not covid19

Just as other animals being tested and found to be positive it's unlikely to be covid19 but a coronavirus of the species.

Detailing that these tests have a 34% to 80% accuracy and high probability of positive for the wrong strain of virus the world needs to work more on full diagnostics declaring a positive result to actually be covid19.

Even when knowing precisely a person has it, it has shown false negatives. It's not something that can be relied on and is a waste of money just to appease the world's worriers and panickers to fulfil an agenda that they are doing everything they can by "Hey look were testing everyone" which is actually doing very little to prevent the spread of the virus.

Even the new machine from Bosch can't differentiate between the coronaviruses and only differentiates between a couple of flu viruses. It's all well and good detecting the proteins which actually cover various viral pathogens to say yes the person is infected but precisely what will take further analysis.

So for everyone whose been tested positive and had very few symptoms probably had the common cold
