"Even though I would love for this meeting to go ahead like you my family comes first, I do think that deep down meeting others will be a long time coming well at least until a vaccine is available to the public which in my view will probably take about 18 months plus, so my post will be more like a wish list as opposed to reality " Not so much a wish list as like planning a “Glastonbury”.. you spend the time to plan well and tease it, build it and then when it’s ready.. it’ll happen..

"Before I meet anyone new and get within 20 feet of them, I need, 1. An anti-body test 2. To have been vaccinated. 3. For it to be 2022 at least. I don't plan on being written down as one of the dead in history. I plan to be one of the old folk that can remember it all. Being on lockdown for a few months doesn't kill a virus. " Tend to agree with this, the virus will for many people put an stop for years if not a full stop.. Similarly all of the above plus travel insurance to a high level will impact going abroad for a while yet with the negative financial impacts too.. For many this is or was an added pleasure which when weighed up against the realities we are seeing now will go..

"When this is over (if it ever really is) there will be lots of things that will come before swinging again. But I'm sure the OP was talking about swinging meets, so I'll stick with that. We really don't know what we will do. I certainly don't think we will be able to go back to how it was before. Not for a very long time anyway. Before this we were pretty much clubs only but even when they are allowed to open again. How on earth do you stick to social distance rules in a swinger club? Besides, because of their very nature I think swinger clubs will be way down the list as restrictions are relaxed. Many German clubs are resigned to the fact that they will not re-open before the Autumn, and some even think that is optimistic. We've thought about private meets but Mrs H doesn't really like them. We've only done a handful over the years and she has never been comfortable at any of them. Even if we went down that road it is almost impossible for us to do anything in Germany so it would be limited to our time in Spain. Also while probably safer than a club it will always carry a degree of risk while this virus is still around. So unless some genius can come up with a way of fucking while keeping social distance, our swinger activities are going to be curtailed for a long time to come. " Fact is no one in their right mind would go to a club whilst this virus is around and it ain't going anywhere. No owner will reopen either . We all have to understand that the only way will return to some sort of normality will be after a vaccine becomes generally available at that is 18 months away at best . Until then, sadly there will be no clubs and private meets will be like playing Russian roulette

Simple as that. If there is demand in swingers clubs, then great, if not, then that is fine too. I'm not hanging around forever to find out! People either want us or they don't. If it's the latter, then we use our amazing premises for something else. It's not rocket science for me?! It could be the end of swinging clubs...for now. But in the meantime, there are bills to pay, so I'm being positive regardless of the views on Fab.

Not so much. | |||
