"Highly doubtful. Fairly certain he would have got 10x more care than the average patient and if they didn't see fit to give them a raise before this situation wont change their opinion." You sound like a pragmatist sir. I am an optimist. Hopefully he will be grateful for his life being saved. More likely he will use what happened to him to make himself look like a martyr.

"Just doing the job they chose and paid for it ." Strange attitude to have. When at some point in your life you need the NHS maybe you will be more appreciative. 3 cleaners died last week in the hospital I work. £9 an hour.

Obviously not. How could there be? But you don’t have to be Einstein to work out it’s a very high probability they were.

One of the symptoms is persistent coughing. I work in a large hospital. Hardly anyone wears ppe whilst walking around the hospital. They were cleaners. Do you understand the job of a cleaner? PPE isn’t infallible. At the start of this crisis there were not enough ffp3 masks available.

"Maybe the chap trying to refute what seems blinding obvious is a lawyer for the NHS. seriously though. 20 minutes on the bus or 8-12 hours working in close proximity of Covid patients. I’ll take my chances in the bus thanks. " I'd hazard a guess at who he votes for.

"Just doing the job they chose and paid for it ." Great attitude you have there fella. I doubt that it has "you run the risk of dying as a direct result of carrying out your duties" anywhere in their contract. Perhaps you should consider changing your username. It seems rather inappropriate under the circumstances...
