Two of my children and two of my grandchildren live within a 15 minute walk. Birthdays, mother's day have come and gone and I've not seen them. My youngest had the virus and I was unable to visit. Sometimes it's not all about what you want, but some people will never get that. | |||

Although yes I guess I'm only just within them... like I go the back road way to the shops or people I'm supporting.. just so I can have a drive that cheers me up... I know I've not just got shopping when I've been shopping.. today for instance i grabbed chairs for my garden. Paint to finish off the house and bbq stuff.. but I did it in the same shopping trip and only one I've done this week for myself. I'm going out by myself... but I carry on my carers duties. This should be the Answer from everyone - it's not hard. I go out once a week to shop (going only to one super market), I go alone, I get food for a relative and deliver I on my return (adding 30 minutes to my journey. I drop there shopping of on their doorstep, I don't stop to talk and I come straight home. I love to cycle long distances but doing so would be stretching the once a day fitness away from home rule so I've got my turbo trainer out and use that instead. These rules aren't hard to follow. I wouldn't want to think that I had the virus and passed it on to someone who has then died (whilst putting the NHS under further strain. Oh so simple, stay in unless you need food or are providing an essential service (I'm a NHS Volunteer) and wash your hands - we ain't much of a nation if we can't achieve that.m | |||

Ok having read both now, neither favoured one or the other.
What I will say is, the minister was the one telling us all to stay home as part of his job when he was doing one of the daily updates by the Government so he has less of an excuse as to what he did.
Do as I say and not as I do seems to be happening a lot lately"Jenrick should have found someone else to deliver his parents medication and Kinnock shouldn’t have visited his dad to celebrate his birthday
