"[Removed by poster at 02/04/20 21:15:45] In the USA gun sales have soured and gun shops haven't closed because they're classed as essentials. ¯\_(°¿°)_/¯ " It's probably something to do with their constitutional right to bear arms. It would be argued that closing a gun store breached this and as such would be unconstitutional, hence unlawful? Slightly worrying that sales actually increased dramatically though

" my first move weeks ago was to ensure full stocks of ammo as much as I am legal to own of all types, as well as have all self loading equipment to further stock up if needed. .308 / 9mm / .357 as well as shotgun rounds

"[Removed by poster at 02/04/20 21:15:45] In the USA gun sales have soured and gun shops haven't closed because they're classed as essentials. ¯\_(°¿°)_/¯ " The reality was that a number of States classified guns as NON ESSENTIAL, & closed hundreds shops. But the powerful NRA lobbied the Govt, getting the decision overturned very quickly, and the Trump administration told those States to reverse their decision, or else!

"What we must consider is the impact this is having on jobs. Soon 10 million people will be out of work in the states. Think about that. 10 million.its incredible but then you factor in debt, addictions, family pressure etc people do turn to crime to pay for things they can't now afford. People that were once honest, hard working suddenly break the law to make ends meet. And with police and security services attention elsewhere response times to a crime in progress is much longer so people naturally are worried about protecting the ones they love and things like the home and car etc. So they will buy guns if they have access to them even more so when society is breaking down. Here in the UK crossbows are selling out in shops as well and that's since the lockdown was bought in. Why crossbows they all aren't robin hood types but it shows you that when people fear something they will find a way to defend what they have. I went on a training course recently and we fired mini Uzi machine guns. These things fire at a rate of 1000 rounds a minute. Completely unnecessary in the home but I could obtain one when out in the states. But it's Remington shotguns that people are buying and cheap 300 dollar weather creed handguns. People are very nervous, my friend's, business partners and family state side know crime will increase so from that you can understand why many are arming themselves." Robin Hood bow and arrow, William Tell crossbow. Your welcome
