I was just curious about the swing scene in the US.

I live in the UK, more specifically London and I find that people on here (fab) have more experiences in clubs and private parties as well as one on one meets. Having looked at Americans on fab I see that they are a little more reserved and not so much clubs, but rather one on one meets. That's just my observation. Is the lifestyle different there? Please enlighten me on your thoughts.

Firstly, I dont live in the states, though I have spent

alot of time there - mainly NYC/NJ. infact I hope to be there in December. So, I have been tracking the

fab traffic for that area. Supprisingly its quite dead, compared to anywhere in the UK. However, it would seem that California, Texas, and Florida are thriving!

Where are you moving to? As a beautiful Asian girl,

I dont think you will be short of Offers, contacts, or friends.

Yea everyone for the most part here in the U.S. I think likes the idea but doesn't act on it, most people are uptight and secretive with there sex life. No one is really interested in meeting, your lucky to even get a message back from anyone here, but if you ever find yourself my way there's 1 willing to meet here

Depending on the area you live. Some areas have no clubs at all. We've been to some of the clubs in our area but prefer more of an intimate setting. Some areas swinging is still a taboo subject.

USA swinging is definitely not as open as UK in my experience. Tends to be a few key locations have more activity, especially NYC, Houston, FL, and specific parts of CA among top places. While I think Fab is very FAB indeed, I believe many others simply use other resources than this - which is why so few on here (in my opinion). It's a very UK-centric web experience.

Personally, I believe there are plenty of fakes from all locations, but my own experiences is a greater proportion of fakes in U.S. than over the pond.

Never really found dogging here - but also never done it in UK. I would be quite surprised if regular guy-guy dogging isn't easily found in most places.

Just my own two cents/shillings.

Can't speak for the scene as a whole (who can?) but we are finding our own path and clubs aren't on the radar at the moment. Much rather have a few 1on1 or usually 2on2 scenarios.

We're newbies by anyone's definition but FAB has very little to offer us here in KS, so we have discovered a different site that has a pretty good population for our area. We've been members for just over a month on that other site and we had a very nice meet this past weekend! And that site offers a place for clubs to announce parties, it seems, at least in and around us most clubs are actually closed private parties set in hotels or other meeting places. We're going to our first LS party at the end of October!

We still like to visit FAB because of the forums but we don't expect to get any meets here.

We've been, several times. We just choose not to go to clubs anymore. We both enjoy bi play, and unless things have changed, it will get you thrown out.

I work for a long haul airline from the uk...i must say it is few and far between trying to find a swinging scene in the u.s

We live in Iowa and there aren't any swing clubs. People are pretty uptight, although there are a lot of kinky people, it's hard to hook up because it's not out in the open. I know Minneapolis, Mn & St. Louis, Mo. have swingers clubs because of their larger population bases. You Brits are more open about it (love the chat & directing rooms to 'play' with those too far away to meet) and that's why Fab Swingers is such a great site. I have met a few couples from the midwest through this site, but we have to travel some for hook ups or skype cam. I don't think this site is very well known here in the states.And that's too bad.

It's a big scene in NYC. But fab is UK based , so there is imbalance that will change over time. We have a few websites that are USA based that offer a wide variety of people.

Nope. Things haven't changed. Im straight, i think its a narrow mindset. There is one club here in Kathleen,FL that has a bi-friendly event, just for that reason.

Scene is a lot more different from my observations as well...I tend to start conversation and eventually it leads to nothing all talk no action i wish the people in my area were as open minded and experimental as the people on your end

I currently live in the UK but lived in the US for a long time. I believe that you wont find too much action here on Fab. Most Americans use a different website (AFF). There is lots of action going on being private meets, clubs or house parties. I;ve enjoyed my time in both countries to be honest

I'm from western Pennsylvania and action here is definitely slow. Does anyone know of any clubs that are close. A lot of people who say that they are willing to meet quit chatting with you when the time gets close.I just don't understand I know distance is a problem but at least let the person know if you just are interested chatting.

Is it also down to the much larger distances in the USA?

Within 1 hour of me there are 20 or so clubs of all styles so spolit for choice. But in more rural settings in the USA it's probably not as concentrated,
