5k?? Was that just for the flights? We went in Feb 2013 and it was 1800 for the flights.

because from mid december to mid january is always considered peak period....

if you look from mid january until about the week before easter (excluding the valentines weekend) you'll find prices a lot cheaper....

also you'll find cheaper prices booking "midweek" than booking "weekends"

No was hotel always booked through virgin xx

We went on Norwegian Airways a a couple of weeks ago, the flight was great with lots of leg room as i'm 6'3", the flights with return cost us just under £800.

We stayed in Pine Bush upstate NY and went for days to the city.

Thanks nowegian airlines dont fly direct from manchester I hate flying... I know what your going to say why go so far on a flight. British airways seems to be the cheapest so far.But still looking I will look at the hotels also.

Flying out in Dec for 4 nights flight (Norwegian airlines)and accom (citizen m in Times Square) came to £800 booked direct
