Have any of you been to Scotland?

Would love to know what your idea is of the place if you have or indeed have never been?

Myself and hubby have only been yo New York a few yrs ago . My impression of it was it was seriously busy !!

Honestly it's the most picturesque place in the world

The highlands are simply stunning

If I do say so myself

Edinburgh is the place to go

I live just outside Glasgow and as much as Glasgow is for shopping and clubs Edinburgh is steeped in history

Beautiful city

To be honest I don't think I would go back to New York

We were there for 5 days and I felt it flew by without actually knowing it

Jet lag was a killer for me wide awake at 4 am lol

It's a bit in personable not many happy faces or folk that chat to you in bars and such like lol

I was in Scotland years ago. The countryside was gorgeous and Edinburgh was fantastic. So much different than the US.

I loved the look of the long-haired shaggy cattle.

Seriously busy is putting mildly and its not the friendliest of places to visit. I would love to visit Scotland. I have seen the photos and it looks amazing.

Just remember your umbrellas and thermal underwear !

We are famous for having all 4 seasons in 1 day normally lol

Although right now is a mini heat wave which is fantastic!

I don't see as many USA people participating in the forums as across the pond do -- shame!!! But then again--I don't see as many USA peeps as HOT as I do from across the pond either .... Maybe there's a connection there!!

Hands down the UK peeps rule the Hot pics! My husband & I are so living in the wrong country for "extra curricular activities" Lol!!!

Although think it's becoming more of a ego trip for some in it ?

Shame about the social scene over there I always imagined America would be way more liberal about swinging than over here?

There are loads of socials going on up and down the country all the time

Not do many clubs up in Scotland but down south there's a fair few and I think even less in Ireland ?

I have a relative or two in Scotland, I know my wife is dying to go there. I've been to England a couple of times ( most of my family is there ). Would love to visit Ireland myself. As far as the lifestyle goes here, people definitely look down there nose at it. I personally wish it was a bit more open, but in due time I guess.

Swinging is very open here in France. Club's can be found on main streets, not hidden away as is in the UK. Social wise there is something on everyday here! You just need to go to the right place. Climate here is great too!

We have a population of right around 1 million people here in Indianapolis. We have about 6 or 7 clubs within an hours drive. We just prefer a more intimate setting.
