I think it takes about 7 years after filling papers for citizenship. And you can live here on your passport till then. But you might think about holding duel citizenship. ( It's always good to have options.)

Go to any US consulate on your soil. they would be in a capital city within your country. the papers are free and they can answer any questions that you have good luck and welcome to the United States of America

Just checked and we (The US) have filled the quota for single men.

Try Iceland, I hear there is a shortage
