Why do people question preferences?

I've noticed more and more on here the reiteration of people stating their orientation...being Straight,Bi,or gay or my new favorite hetexible

It seems that no matter what you say or have on your profile you have the occasional "are you sure?" Or "would you do this?" I know something's can be done in the heat of the moment!! (Been there done that) I'm just trying to figure out where the respect for someone stating what they want has gone. If I say I'm hetexible then aside from maybe asking what that is, I expect people to accept it. Don't like it that's fine, you don't have to, just don't try to change my mind, to suit YOUR preference.

Just a thought after a couple of messages received over the last week.

Wow, you actually have people that read your profile, we're impressed.

The majority of people that proposition us haven't read ours at all.

But we agree with you that we want what we want and if what the other person wants is the same as us, then it's all good. If there is that incompatibility then they should move on.

So, do you get this more from guys, gals or couples?

Definitely guys asking if hubby is sure he wouldn't play Bi.... And one of hubby's main stipulations once starting was making sure that I let it known that he's straight..it says it on the profile but we get it often!!!!

Jds open minded and doesn't judge anyone who has whatever preferences but this has made him feel uncomfortable on many different occasions! Last one being a bunch of us getting together for a social meet and one person asking more than once about this lol

We know what you mean. We constantly get messages from straight guys saying they are Bi. It states in our profile that they shouldn't bother. While we will chat and make friends with just about anyone. Though when it comes to play, we're very selective.

None of us wants to feel uncomfortable in a play situation.( it takes all the fun out of it.) We guess it's just the nature of the beast when we do things like this. Put up with 100 bad ones just to get one good one.

This is a sex site in cyber space, its about dreams and fantasy, if you list preferences you are as you just said limiting your choices 100 times, so will have very little luck,

We're fine with that,( the very little luck.) better to have what you want rather than what you don't want. And you're right," Life is about living, learning and trying new things." We've been there and done that." Now we're looking specifically for that niche group. ( because that is the area we want to play in.) And if we can't find it on here, we are perfectly content with posting pictures, chatting with people and posting on the forums.

Again I agree with June and Lee!

Just because this is a sex site doesn't mean We will fuck just anyone! Do we want fun and new experiences? Absolutely but I still am going to have my preferences and my likes and dislikes...

Either we continue to be patient and have the few meets or keep it moving like we tell others lol
