Long drive where to stop?

Having a long drive tomorrow.. from Melrose (Scottish borders) to Reading (Berkshire). Long drive thinking about stopping for a break somewhere any one got any ideas?

Already been mentioned but Tebay on the M6 is one of the best service stations out there.

It’s the only one I ever stop at on a road trip south.

Bizarrely though the north bound one isn’t as good.
