We are planning a visit to Leeds in early January and fancy visiting either Quest or Pandora. Does anyone have any recommendations or preferences? Thanks!

I would say quest for your first visit as pandoras is huge.

Quest is just the right size and all on 1 floor

We'd say Quest, as it is a smaller venue it's easier to get chatting to people.

Tho choose your day or night carefully to ensure you go to an event which suits you. You mind want it packed on a Sat night or quieter on a Sunday afternoon (our choice).

Basically have a look at Quest's website and look at their event lists.
