I think Xstasia holds a peer rope (where people with rope skills teach beginners and a space for more experienced play) once a month. It also holds workshops, I went 2 years ago to a pressure point workshop. It also has an annual weekend of fetish workshops covering all sorts of play, but I can't remember when.

The BBB used to have demonstrations. Also with rope if you have money you can have one to one tutorials.
