Hey everyone I’m heading to Edinburgh at the end of October on a stag do, looking for advice on the best places to go during the day and then the best place for me to slip off to for some fun on the night???

During the day:

Castle obviously

Camera obscura is pretty cool.

Mary Kings Close is decent

The Dungeon is decent

If it’s a good day walk up Arthur’s Seat

Night time:

George Street if you’re of a trendy persuasion

Cowgateband grass market for alternative

The ‘hairy triangle’ is at west end of the grass market, 3 strip bars (burke and hare I think is the best of those)

Only ‘club’ is After 8

Edinburgh is an amazing city, don’t break it!
