There's the queyside and the big market. I prefer the big market. Real pubs and cheap. Watch out for the bee hive, phumphrys which is next door and the black garter just round the corner.

Black garter no where near the beehive ...it’s at green market up beside eldonnsquare ... just a heads up. ... quayside has some great pubs courtyard(Wetherspoons )always busy and great errrrrr attractions and some rip off ones .(pitcher and piano) ..bigg market some cheaper ones old stylee and always busy busy busy. ....

thanks. Looking for something to do on saturday but most stuff if booked up! Anything in the centre for a group of lads to do? X

The whole of Newcastle! Take your pick.From the quayside, the gate. The bigg market.

Ghetto golf is a little away from the centre, probably 20 30 mins walk.

I'd say for a group of lads the top end would be good afternoon...

Players in the gate sometimes have the dancers on but with it not being a match day who knows.

Enjoy your trip to the toon!
