Where to stay in newcastle

Hi ... looking for advice from anyone that knows the newcastle area please

Will be looking for a serviced apartment that i could rent for a few months at a time ... preferably near or easy commute to gosforth

Any recommendations?

Also will be looking to make new friends

If you google hometogo and newcastle they have a lot of apartments to rent from nightly to monthly. Theres a few in Gosforth and many more in the city centre and surrounding area. The metro system(when working) means everywhere is easily accessable so commuting from outside isnt an issue. As for friends theres countless great bars and clubs to explore.....including shhh for special friendships hehe
