London

Hey fabbers, Happy New Year

Mrs Fun has recently accepted a job offer for central London, so we will be making the move at the end of the month, any advice anyone could pass on would be greatly appreciated, eg best areas to live with good transport links... best sites to use to find flatmates and any other local knowledge or tips you may want to share

Wev visited a few times and always enjoyed our time there so looking forward to taking a punt and seeing if it works out permanently....

Hi guys,,

I tried to reply privately, but won't let me, cause you've blocked my type.

I've been in London for 16 years and like to think I've a bit of knowledge on the subject, feel free to get in contact.

I live outside London now, but have great commuter links into the city as well as soical life.

Get in touch more than happy to help.

Northampton

Congratulations on the new job - and the move!

Part of the answer will depend on boring stuff like:

Where is work (and how close do you want / need to be)

What’s your budget

Schools, if that’s a consideration etc

Regents Park is really nice (if your budget is £25 million...!)

(No, I can’t afford that either..!?)

Depending on how permanent the job is, it may be worth renting while you explore

Can defo help you out. Depends on the life you want to live. If your active and want to be near a park... or if you want to be near the best bars. If your into sports... job location, budget, and your social class.. you might not want to live with the pikeys lol
