Summer Newcastle social is on!

No summer would be complete without a Newcastle social..... so here we are!

For this one I am going to ask those on list to pay £1 (yes just one pound) per head either via PayPal or bank transfer.

This is to cover the "free shots" that I paid for and the raffle prizes. The donations from people were fantastic however I'd like to be able to buy more raffle prizes for the guests.

There is no distinction between male, female, couple, TV, CD or TG. It is just £1 per person plus I'm hoping it stops the time wasters asking so they get the info and then don't turn up.

The plus 1s are for fire regulations mainly and is on the printed copy the door staff havs. As I am not posting names of plus 1s its irrelevant on a thread

FAQ

Q. Is there a dress code?

A. No - dress as you would on a normal night out . Should you wish to "dress down" there is facility for you to do so

Q. Do I bring my own drink?

A. No, licensed bar and own drinks are not permitted

Q. Will there be sex?

A. It's a social...please respect that aspect. If you meet someone you wish to take things further with then take them home/hotel is preferred

Q. Can I play with you?

A. Again it's a social and chances are no. I'm somewhat busy on the evening

Q. What music will be played?

A. A variety of... if you've any specific requests please see music thread as posted by the DJ

Q. What time does it start?

A. As per your info email 7.30pm however you do not have to be there at 7.30pm. Entry will not be permitted after 12 though.

So after somehow entering the wrong door then being charged £5 for my entry I eventually made my first social. Thanks everyone for organizing it and everyone who had a chat with me for making it good craic especially trzasid.

Again I would like to say a BIG thank you to those who attended and made it a great night and a success. Was lovely to see so many positive cheery people chatting away and dancing.

461-465 was mine haha! I don't have the tickets no more though! We cannot thank you enough for a brilliant night.

After just having a read of a few of the comments on here I cannot believe that someone has stolen a purse and the charity money. I hope whoever it is reads the forum and hands it back over. Karma's a bitch anyway so will come back and bite them on the bum!!

Omg really??? What on earth is wrong with people. We couldn't make it but wouldn't dream of lowering myself to ask for £2 back, then to have things stolen on the night is just shocking!!! Keep up the great work Darlo and don't let them get you down xxx

I did state non refundable. There was a couple who kicked off and wanted money back.

At the end of the day i don't make money from this. I do it for the scene. Xx

Well they should be barred from attending any more Socials if that is all the gratitude you get for all the hard work, and without people like you the scene wouldn't be as good as it is!!! X
