Ok so I've been inundated with what i feel to be ridiculous messages.

A social by definition is exactly as the word sounds "social".

You meet and talk. Instead of 1 on 1 or 2 on 1 it's slightly larger

You do not go up and start talking about fab or asking ppl if they're on fab

If you don't know anyone going then ask the host ie me and I will introduce you to some people

No pictures! You're out in a public venue if you've friends with you and you want a selfie crack on but that's it.

Dress code is as you would on a night out

I don't honestly believe I'm having to put this up but I'm sick of saying the same thing.

Will only be able to stay a few hours as my boss took over my night off and I'm having to work at 9.45. So I'll try make the most of the time!

If you are feeling nervous don't stand in the corner and make conversation early if you have to leave early. There's no need to be nervous as its only a drink with likeminded people and all are very approachable. After all we are all there to chat with folk and have a good night out. Be yourself and you wont feel any pressure.

Thanks for your advice, I work in one of the other bars in town so shouldn't have an issue chatting with people. Sometimes I have a habit of being shy in new situations. Though I'm kicking that habit with gusto

Thanks for a great night. We had a great time. We always do. Then got back to the hotel, ate someone else's food and rearranged the furniture as you do.
