Indian or Asian??

does it make sense to call someone as an Indian? or Asian? or it does not really matter ?

In my PERSONNEL opinion I would like to call myself as an British Indian rather than Asian!! as it clarifies more!!

THIS IS JUST A QUESTION I REQUEST NOT TO TAKE THIS TREAD TOWARDS ANY RACISM BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE LOVES THIS CARD!!

I would say Indian if from India or British born India etc what ever you preference .. Asian I would say would would be more from Thailand / China/ Singapore / Japan areas ... but that is only my option right or wrong but at some point we all fit in to a global pocket ... western / middke eastern / Asian... it’s not wrong to be put in theses pigeon holes... it only becomes racialist if it’s associated with something bad ...
