i have to say i love dancing salsa, but it can be very limiting for a lot of ppl as 1, there might not be a local salsa night and 2 unless you have salsa music in your collection it hard to practice,yes there are some suitable english songs. A great alternative is modern jive, le roc or the brand name a lot of ppl know is Ceroc, without getting to technical, you could say it is a mix of salsa moves as well as rocknroll/jive and it looks pretty good when you get the hang of it( like anything else) on the plus side you can dance to all sorts of music, not just salsa, everything from michael buble, black eyed peas, jean paul young, the killers, the list and genres are endless and of course it is easy to go to a nightclub or other social events and dance to it |
