Newcastle Social - February 2012

Once again I must say a huge thank you to everyone who came to the October Social last night and who also attended the July Social earlier on in the year. Thank you once again for making it such a great night.

As last time I can still feel the throbbing in my feet but ive already been asked to confirm the date for the next event.

So ive consulted with my little diary and although previously I know there had been talk of the Socials being a 3monthly thing, I hope you'll agree that its simply not practical to hold the next one during the first week in January. So shall we skip forward a month and say ~FRIDAY 3RD FEBRUARY 2012~ ?

Also last night, and before then, there have been people talking to me suggesting a change in the format, as in a single venue social. The reason I began organising the Newcastle events is because I knew that people were interested in attending them. And the fact is if you guys didnt turn up id be sat there at the bar on me todd lol

So any feedback would be appreciated from anyone, if you would prefer a single venue or you are happy with the current format?

As always anyone and everyone is welcome to attend, and as always if anyone plans on travelling from further afield and requires a hotel please get in touch and I will happily provide information

There were a few people who I spoke to throughout the day yesterday and last night who werent aware that the Social was taking place because they dont read the Forums. So please feel free to spread the word to friends on here

Ill also post a thread in the 'Organised Meets' listings with info directing people here for those who dont use the Forums.

Again if anyone has any questions please feel free to send me a PM, as always you can confirm your attendence by leaving a comment on here or by sending me a PM. This also applies if you want to make any suggestions or comments RE the current format of the evenings, if you want them to change etc, all feedback welcomed.

best thing to do is go back early for a shag then turn back oot, we booked a room for 3 so planned ahead

There are a number of apartments you can hire , most are around the same cost as hotel rooms and the main advantage is you can have as many people as you want in them . Have a look for city apartments or premier apartments ive stayed in ones at the top of Waterloo road and they were nice ,

well, considering the success of the last one and the impact it has had on my new lifestyle, I would be insane not to attend. Besides I don't think I have a say in it anyway, do I louise?

I really liked the format of bar crawl as I didn't feel under any pressure to do anything but I can see the benefit of single venue as some people like to keep things private. I'm happy either way as long as the music plays and the conversation flows.

premier apartments has apartments with only two double rooms for £199 per night... thats only for 4 technically cos i dont know if the night porter bloke would let more up at the end of the night etc etc... are there any other kinda apartments in newcie??

I know I have never been to one but I think one venue would maybe make it more of a swingers club rather than a social and it's the idea of going out and having a laugh round the pubs, being flirty with like minded people and have the excitement of the possibility of pulling that appeals to us the most, as opposed to the certainty of pulling in a club.

Its previously been a pub crawl round the pink...i am assuming its the same this time.

lou puts masses of effort onto ensuring people mingle and marshaling us all though...poor thing is shagged out by the end of the night

"Hey, first we're hearing about the social, we'd love to join in!!! Is it normal pubs and clubs atm in centre of newcastle?? IF so count us in.

I know I have never been to one but I think one venue would maybe make it more of a swingers club rather than a social and it's the idea of going out and having a laugh round the pubs, being flirty with like minded people and have the excitement of the possibility of pulling that appeals to us the most, as opposed to the certainty of pulling in a club.

please could you fill us in on all the details xx

Its previously been a pub crawl round the pink...i am assuming its the same this time.

lou puts masses of effort onto ensuring people mingle and marshaling us all though...poor thing is shagged out by the end of the night
