Caribbean or Egypt?

Booking a holiday today and can't decide whether to go the Dominican or Egypt. Anyone been to either or both?

Been to the Dominican 4 times and thoroughly enjoyed it. I haven't been to Egypt but my wife has and said she wouldn't go back.

I'd stick with the Dom Rep personally but make sure you pick a 5 star resort if you're going all inclusive and read as many reviews on trip advisor as you can. Also, stick to Punta Cana/Bavaro area as the beaches are better.
