Everyone will have their phone tbh...doesn't mean photos will be taken or anything like that, especially without permission. If she had concerns they could have been easily allayed.

From the sound of it, a "no phone" policy might be good, though. It could make people, ladies especially, more comfortable.

Never really seen any issues with misuse of phones in the cinema. But it's only courtesy not to be messing with them if ladies are present.

We can certainly understand why she left, we would do the same.If someone needs to use their phone they should have gone into the shop.We wouldnt trust anyone who had there phone out, especially if we were playing.I hope she mentioned it to the staff.

I know sometimes people need to check phones for the time or more likely to see if anyone has posted on fab about an imminent visit

but you would think people would have the common sense to put them away when a woman/couple walk in (and let’s face it, we all wanna be doing summat else with our hands then anyway )
