I used to live reasonably close by and go there often but not for a while.

It depends what you like really but it caters for all.

Although it's a bit of a tourist hotspot it's also a full functioning place in it's own right so there are not really any tourist rip-off places to eat and drink from my knowledge.

Last time I was there earlier this year we asked guards at the castle where they go to eat lunch. They told us about this great Thai food place - I can't remember the name but it's got great food and its near the castle.

Anyway, I would recommend asking people who work in the area where they eat, it's usually a winning strategy and the places named are rarely expensive if locals go there.

We was there for the queens birthday, brilliant day out and not too badly priced, IMO... Car parking was cheap, as a wild guess, approx £5 for the day??

We went after a sexy night at Abfabs, which is about 5 miles away...

We'll be back soon

Look on either opentable or bookatable, both are good for guaranteeing your reservation.

My default is wagamama but meimo or browns are both good too. Thai square has been good but also one time not good. What type of food do you like?
