It is, very nice. Been a few times, some nice restaurants there and in the surrounding villages. Some nice walks and coastal scenery very near by. Spiffing!

Do you work for the tourist board?

I'm sure you've mentioned how lovely it is a few times on the forums.

Chichester is beautiful, even if those peregrine falcons at the cathedral were hiding, the buggers.

One friend described it as "God's waiting room", though. Think he might have been a bit disappointed?

Cor yes! Love watching those birds in the cathedral! Especially when they get in right flap! Always up for a bit of peregrine-watching! But they're very flighty birds - never know what they'll do next! Best thing is to watch 'em like a hawk!

Cirencester

Enjoyed a very pleasant visit to Chichester on Sunday whilst on a trip to various places on the south coast over the weekend. The weather was gorgeous and enjoyed a lovely carvery in the beer garden of the Nags Head - entertainment provided by the guy on a nearby table who had recently returned from Amsterdam and gave a blow-by-blow account of his adventures in the red light district to everyone within earshot (ie everyone) .

Had a wander around the market afterwards and up to the cathedral and back. Super place and would definitely visit again.

"Long shot, but....if you were the cute girl jogging in the pink top, dark leggings in w**** road Chichester, this morning while I was trimming the top of the hedge, I would love to say hi!"

That was me.

You can trim my bush anytime.

"Enjoyed a very pleasant visit to Chichester on Sunday whilst on a trip to various places on the south coast over the weekend.

Glad you enjoyed it

Come again.

"Chichester is beautiful, even if those peregrine falcons at the cathedral were hiding, the buggers.

One friend described it as "God's waiting room", though. Think he might have been a bit disappointed?"

That's a place called eastbourne...they call it the sunshine coast lol

One thing that I will never tire of living and working near to Goodwood is the site and sound of the spitfire! Magical.

The spitfire is magical to watch and the sound it makes is great.

Goodwood has everything.

Cars , planes , horses , wildlife.

Lovely scenery , golf ,

We are very lucky to have it.
