Not having much luck thus far

I was recently messaged by a local lad on here who asked me if I was "having much luck?" - to which my answer was of course no. So I know I'm not the only one in this boat.

I've sent out a few messages but not to many, perhaps 5 different women. I can understand that sexy women on here probably get bombarded with hundreds of messages every hour, but even the ones that do eventually get read aren't replied to. My inbox is only full of pushy gay guys which is becoming a bit of a problem too - my profile clearly states that I'm straight.

Everybody is on this site mostly for one particular reason so I don't quite understand it. Are there any seasoned pro's out there who have had to overcome this problem in the past? I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

I think the best way to kinda meet people is by going to organised bigger meets and clubs that seems to be the way to start speaking to people first

There's probably a good reason why you do okay... And yeah it's kind of annoying.

I've noticed there's a social thing going on in my local area. I don't think that's for me, at least not now. But saying that I might be wrong, I could go there and have a ball!

I get the impression that reviews also help, but of course you'd need to actually met someone to get a review... Vicious circle.

Problem is that women are under supplied and over demanded. And men vice versa.

As a result, women can afford to be astronomically picky. And of course will be.

Nothing much you can do about it I'm afraid, even as a couple that generally gets positive feedback in terms of attractiveness we haven't been able to get a meet. Quite a few replies but they all get flakey when you actually want to make things real. Most people on here aren't really here to find people to swing with. They already have their circle and this is just to socialise, ego stroke and occasionally screen for a truly exceptional candidate.

To be the swinging side of this is beyond boring now, the forums are pretty good though so I still spend a fair bit of time around here. Suspect we will either jack in the idea of swinging as a concept or maybe find one of L's friends to join us instead

Your profile isn't bad but you could use some more pics that might help, otherwise get yourself to a social or a club.

As for the single men you could always change your filters then you won't get any messages

Op if your worried about the gay and bi men messaging you you can block same sex from messaging you. I wasn't having much luck until recently. Organise a social meet in your area and make yourself more viable either chatting in the chat rooms on cam or in forums on posts. Like anything it just gets better the more time you put in to it. Thanks for the feedback, I'll reply to all of you in this post.

LLMW that's the impression I've got, an under supply of women, and over supply of men of all sexualities. Without meaning to sound like a tool, I know I'm good looking and send full pics to those I've been in touch with. If you as an attractive couple are also experiencing difficulty then I don't think this site is for me, as my struggle will no doubt be tougher.

MrandMrs, and Mancgrey - I have additional pics that I've sent out privately so that shouldn't be an issue. MrandMrs thanks for the profile feedback, I thought it was okay as well!

The filters, maybe I should look into that but to be fair after an early swarm the messages from guys seems to have stopped. I had no idea about the social thing until I read the forums. I had a look at one near me and tbh I wouldn't be into the people going there, assuming they're all going there to meet some people they can potentially swing with. So perhaps this site isn't what I thought it would be and I'm better off sticking to Tinder - which has brought me some success.

That's because there is straight and there is fab straight lol, we use the filters it just saves a lot of time and time wasting. You do have to have patience on here we have been on here for a few weeks and have yet to have a meet with a single bi female, so it's not just single men us couples don't always have much luck either as a few of us are looking for the same thing

Lol really? I'm comfortable with people who have a different sex orientation to me, always have been. I just don't want it being forced on me if you get what I mean, nor ugly cocks in my inbox... Oh we aren't apprehensive we have been to abfabs and have a couple we meet up with regularly and have a lot of naughty fun with, we have a few verifications already but it's finding the right single bi female that's the problem as we both have to fancy her (but we both have similar tastes so that's not usually a problem)

Thank you, and nah can't be critical of this post as it puts a fresh perspective on things. Basically you're saying Fab (for you and some others) is a networking thing - then the 'swinging' comes in. I really didn't sign up and have this site down as a social thing, I mean it's nothing like tinder, etc. It's a swinging forum where people can upload highlight explicit and X rated content - so my initial thought upon hearing about this site is "people come here to find someone to f**k". A lot of people I've come across on here are pretty much doing that, and getting a bit of action it seems...

I've mentioned the picture situation a couple times now and it's written on my profile. I know discreetness is also important to a almost everyone else on here too... I always send pictures if I send a message .

So now I have a fresh perspective to take on, networking. That's something I'll keep in mind over the coming weeks as I decide to stay or go. Thanks again, for answering the original post and not straying off by mentioning my apparent bad taste in clothing...

Bill, paying for it is optional, I bet nobody pays to have the option of looking at the people you rejected... It also doesn't show on your social media. The reason I synced mine with Facebook was so that I could see what mutual friends I had with matches, thus allowing me to figure out whether or not they're legit people...

Well OP, I see you started this thread after being on the site for the amazingly long time of one week. Expecting to instantly get women to meet you was incredibly optimistic, besides if you are only after one2ones wouldn't a dating site or one of the dedicated sex hook up sites be better?

Expecting to get to talk to people at least. To answer your questions, doesn't Fab cover all of that? I'm pretty sure it does from what I've read whilst browsing.
