We're off to Blackpool next weekend and looking for recommendations for good 'regular' pubs and bars, so none of the wetherspoons/yates type grot holes full of idiots but something with a bit more style.

Any ideas?

Most pubs in Blackpool cater for the hen/ stag scene so i think you might struggle.We were there on Friday and there is deffo none on the front.Maybe the back streets might be different.Oh and make sure your wallets full,you will need it

If your looking for a good quality place go tongue beach house on the sea front about 400 yards below north pier .. Food great music plus an excellent wine bar all overlooking the sea ... Its over the tram tracks and a million light years away from the other side of the road .. Then if you're u want a change go to the flying handbag it's totally the other end of the scale dance floor dj great bar with a huge mix of people , straight, gay and some who aren't sure ..

Best recommedabtations are: Ma Kelly's daytime or night, Peek-a-Booze (Dickson Road) and Flying Handbag....

Then go where your sends take you or back to the same bars...
