Due to the recent posts on the forums about reporters at the socials tonight we wanted to ensure you of the security we put in place.

Our pub is a CLOSED venue, no one who is not on the door list will gain entry. We only allow people to attend our socials if they are verified members of fabs.

Most people who come to our socials we personally or by very good, well know trusted friends have met them before.

We have a strict NO CAMERA rule which we enforce.

I will personally be going through the door list and checking profiles and verifications, if i suspect anything untowards they will be carefully scrutinised and questioned on the door before they allowed entry, if i am not satisfied i will turn them away.

I have been doing socials for about 4 years now and have never come across of heard of reporters trying to gatecrash a social. A reporter can join the site and attend any social or arrange meets as a bonifide member, and there is nothing that anyone can do to stop that.

What is a reporter going to do at a social, chat to people about swinging, take photographs of people having a drink?

Evey modern mobile phone has a camera that can take photos and record videos, so every one who attends a social is already through the door with a camera so there is no such thing as a 'strict no camera' rule.

A reporter or anyone else on the web can read every thread and post on this site without even being a member. They will find more material form the threads for a story then they will from gatecrashing a room full of people having a drink in a pub.

I know where your pub is and what nights you have a swingers social from the forums on here, and I' am not a reporter
