Canal street this Friday where can I park for free?

I'm going to Manchester canal street but I'm driving and was wondering if anyone knew where I could park my car whilst I go to a few bars will be going at about 4pm ish and might be staying late, hopefully ??

Can anyone recommend good parking spaces preferably for free and long stay! Thanks people x

You wont find free parking anywhere in Manchester apart from on a sunday.Theres a multi story above the bus station on Chorlton St which is next to Canal St. hth.

which isn't near Canal street alas.....there is street parking and a ncp multi storey down there but you will have to pay...

We are off in the camper tonight and park on street next to canal Street £12 for 24 hours

you can park for free in Salford, preferably Ordsall Lane. Their are plenty of guys there who will help you with your parking problem permanently. (It's a joke OK?) they also supply other illcit things too if you are brave, I however am not and moved well away. I did used to work there throuh.
