Hi fabsters I am up in Glasgow at the end of the month for a stag do and I need your help and advice on where to go and what to do. I was thinking as we will arrive afternoon on Friday doing WEST brewery for dinner that evening. We have a powerboat trip on the Saturday but need places to go on the night. We are staying in the Eurohostle. A real mixed bunch of people. Gay, straight, black, white, Ginger, male and female. Hopefully you can all advise. Thanks everyone in advance

Xxx

Loads of cracking pubs, bars n restaurants in city centre n west end, can suggest waxy O'connors then cocktails at the social beside the old Mitchell library The famous horse statue with traffic cone on head is nearby, then head down to the trendy merchant city.

The Mitchell has been in it's current position, on North St, since 1911! I think you're thinking of Stirling's Library, now Gallery of Modern Art, where the Duke of Wellington and Copenhagen live!

Merchant City in city centre is our recommendation. Central, civilised and cosmopolitan. Can't believe I just used those words to describe a part of my home city! Changed days!!!
