Agreed, I'm from scunthorpe which is only an hour away and there's a very noticeable difference between there and here

I spent four years living in Ull as a student, had the best time! However I heard that they knocked down LAs and built a shopping centre - outrageous!!! I spent far too many nights in LAs or the Tower back in the day!!

No the shopping centre is further down from what was LAs I think LAs is still a pile of rubble last time I was in town

Also spent many a night in LAs, Circus Circus, Eclipse, etc back in the day. Shame to see it knocked down, last time I was there, about a year ago, it was still just cleared land. Apparently it had been used as a disco/dance hall for decades, there seems to be a trend for getting rid of these places, boring people I say!
