Hard to meet anyone

Hey, posted in Scotland forum but thought would extend to the rest of UK! We are a young couple who have been on site for a year or so now and struggling to get meets and was wondering if anyone's up for a chat/has any advice on how to get more involved in the scene? Preferably MF or F xx
