Hi folks, I'll be staying overnight for the first time in Manchester if anyone fancy a libation or two. (-:

If not I'd be grateful for any recommendations for somewhere to go for a nice meal and drink afterwards. Thanks.

Most on here looking for fun I can only presume ! Asking people here if they fancy a 'libation' would be like going on superfastcars dot com and asking if anyone fancies going skateboarding !

Perhaps you would be better off on beerforum dot com.

That aside try the Print Works, everthing under one roof ! Hope that helps lol

I thought it would be too rude and forward to say I'm staying in Manchester fancy coming for a shag. Lol.

Print works you say, cool. Thanks x

God don't go to the printworks for the love of god. Just don't. Its all under one roof, cinema, shit restaurants, drinkeries and as much chavness as possible. Let my know what sort of place you like in Glasgow and I will give you somewhere better. (Lived in both cities). No offence to anyone that likes the print works but to anyone in Glasgow ....think Frankenstein's bar ..........

Thanks for the heads up. In Glasgow I like McChuills, MacSorleys and that's about it, I like bars with good character and a bit eccentric. I'll be avoiding the Printworks for sure.

Scarborough

The Castlefield area has some good bars and restaurants but does get very busy on a weekend.

No problem. Albert Square also has some great bars and food but I think the Christmas markets start this Friday so it will be ridiculously busy around there.

Let me know if you need any help on places to eat etc...and enjoy your stay
