Grey street hotel is good, and central.

Little Buddha and Lady Greys are good.

The clock isnt... For market traders in a cheap area.

You must be looking at a different Newcastle.

Lady Greys in Newcastle upon Tyne opening hours:

Address: 20 Shakespeare St, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear NE1 6AQ

Phone:0191 232 5932

Hours:

Monday 11:00 am – 11:30 pm

Tuesday 11:00 am – 11:30 pm

Wednesday 11:00 am – 11:30 pm

Thursday 11:00 am – 11:30 pm

Friday 11:00 am – 11:30 pm

Saturday 11:00 am – 11:30 pm

Sunday 12:00 pm – 11:30 pm

Fat (not Little) Buddha

Address: 55 Degrees North, Pilgrim St, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear NE1 6BL

Phone:0191 261 1066

Hours:

Monday 12:00–2:30 pm, 5:30–10:30 pm

Tuesday 12:00–2:30 pm, 5:30–10:30 pm

Wednesday12:00–2:30 pm, 5:30–10:30 pm

Thursday 12:00–2:30 pm, 5:30–10:30 pm

Friday 12:00–2:30 pm, 5:30–10:30 pm

Saturday 12:00–2:30 pm, 5:30–10:30 pm

Sunday 12:00–2:30 pm, 5:30–10:30 pm

I think this looks like those bars are open midweek too.

However, there are many, many good bars in Newcastle open throughout the week but they will definitely be quieter than the weekend mayhem you may have heard of.

None-the-less, enjoy.
