Hey guys and gals.

Anyone heading over to Dorset steam fair at the end of August?

Il be there for the week campaign and enjoy plenty of drink and laughs.

Anyone recommend anything there? It's been a few years since I last went.

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Entrance fees are more expensive!!! I`ll be there all five days on the Ferguson Heritage stand but going home each night as it`s quite energy sapping for an Olde Farte like me!

Haha I'm thinking it's going to be a draining week but on hell of a lot of fun. I got a groupon deal on tickets so saved half the price ??

Not been for a year and can't make it this year. Real ale tent on Friday night to sing along with Dr Busker is always good. Split pin is easy on the eye too.

Bit cheeses of when they started charging for evening entry. Very good show and always find it hard to take an interest in everything on offer, and get around in one day.

Don`t laugh but take a bike with you! Last year I tookmy folding shopper bike and towed a cart behind it. Huge saving on the legs and I was able to go back to the car and drop the cart off, have a kip and go back for the evening. Love the funfair at night!

Good thing is that as soon as the sun comes out and a bit of wind picks up, the mud dissappears quite quickly!

More rain there yesterday afternoon but a good day weatherwise today so conditions should improve!
