Many times.

If everyone is ok with it I don't mind organising it.

BUT

We need a good few people to at least show an interest and turn up.

Hullo - a mids social sounds like a great idea. I've only been to one before since joining up on this site and I love to go to another one, only not having to travel so damn far for it (last one was in Manchester)

I have been to Coventry Socials and they are great fun. I have been about five times and its fantastic place to make new friends. You should all go.

To be honest when choosing a venue you are never going to please everyone.

BUT

Seen as this is the Shrops and West Mids area how about Cannock, good transport links and about central if you are coming from Shrops or Brum.

For those who want a midlands social, Coventry Social 10th July

This is the last social for a while as schools break up, so let’s go out with a bang and make it the biggest and best one so far. If you want it a fancy dress then its school boy / girl theme (school uniform, super hero’s, teachers, dinner ladies etc), however this is optional and as with all other socials you can come dressed as you like. The venue is booked exclusively for this event and not open to general public

There will be a bar 8pm – 1am, disco and buffet. Admission will be £2.50 per person to cover all costs on the night. You can add your names to the list by mailing me direct. You will be asked to confirm nearer the time so details can be sent out. Hotel details are available.

We get average of over 100 attending every time so get you names down as places will fill up.

Didn't "miss" the social!! Can't dare to attend em as folks who run the club you have em at are parents of daughters friend at school grrrrrrrrrrrr

Would love to meet up with more local folk n will possibly pop along to the hotel folks use b4 the social but daren't come to the club ......... well not for another yr lmao

A social has been organised for Saturday 3rd July in Wolverhampton pub with a private function room booked for this event. There will be a bar and disco and it all starts from 8pm till 12ish. All welcome and venue details will be sent out a couple of days before to those who wish to attend. You can add your names to the list by mailing me or via the other posting in the meet section. Next Cov social will be on Saturday 4th September 2010. It will be in a venue booked just for this event with a bar from 8pm till 1am ish, with the usual disco and a buffet.

For those who want to come in fancy dress can do so and being September, the theme is back to school, uniforms, teachers, dinner ladies, super heroes/characters etc., however this is optional and you can just come as mums and dads. Admission will be £2.50 per person to cover costs.

There is a hotel nearby. Details on request. This is a social and not a play party
