Hi Guys Us And Coupleseekfun Are Organasing Another Social Up In The Sunny N/East.

We Now Have The Venue Sorted And The Date For Your Diary Is Saturday 1st May, So If You Would Like To Attend Please Meassage Us Or Coupleseekfun For Details, Please Note It Is A "vanilla" Venue But We Have Our Own Enclosed Function Room etc.

This Time We Have Decided That We Will Have A DJ And Some Food On So There Will Be A Litte Charge Of £3.00 Per Head Just To Cover Room Hire, DJ And Food Costs, Any Money Left Over & Raised On The Night Will Go To A Charity Of Our Choosing.

We Have Took The Names From The Thread Before But Could You Meassage Us Or Coupleseekfun To Confirm That You Will Be Attending Please As The Room Only Holds 100 So Its Strictly A First Come, First Served Basis (Single Males Are Restricted To The First 10) Then There Will Be A Reserve List Opened.

It is taken out of context as, at what point anywhere in the OP does it say "single males are un-welcome, but we'll let 10 of you in just for the sake of it"? Simple answer is it doesnt!

The reason single males are limited is because the numbers are very strictly limited to 100 by the venue.

Now lets imagine for a moment, if you will, that you're part of a couple, would you put your name on the list to attend if you knew 30 or 40 people of the 100 attending were single males??? I know for sure we certainly wouldnt

right just to let u lot no the only reason we have put a 10 single males on is cause we have about 70 single males (half with no pics or vervis) wanting to come and i bet by the weekend end we will have 100 singles us and coupleseekfun have to draw the line sum where and its my bad cause we missed the bit out about single females to only 10 aswell sorry about this xxxxxx

And your figures of the following: "30% would have been acceptable along with 30% single females and 40% couples" would really work wouldnt they?

That would give us 30 single men, 30 single females (i'd love to know where you're going to magic these from) and 20 couples....thats a perfect balance isnt it?

Have a serious re-think on those quotas and come back to me, alternatively, dont bother replying and leave us to organise our social in peace seeing as it has absolutely nothing to do with you as you're not attending

Finding it realy hard to get hotel all travel lodges and premier inn are all booked so is the mariot and the holiday inn express in washington,is there guest houses or b&b local as a last resort.

its a village

It was nice to see so many people there but the loud music spoilt it for us. It was near enough impossible to talk to people. You had to shout to each other so we never really got a chance to chat to many which we thought was a real shame.

Thanks for a great night. We met some fab people and finally unravelled a mystery from a few months back. Next time we post " in the Fighting Cocks " it could herald a very interesting night.

There were some really nice couples we unfortunately didnt get to chat to but will try our best next time.

This was my first social after a few years, and all the sights, the sounds, the characters and highlights all came flooding back. It was nice to see such a very good turnout - and being shy I did not get to say hello to everyone - you know who you are - really sorry but I'm sure there will be other socials, and I might even brave the dance floor lol seriously was good meeting everyone - bring on the next one !
