Wetherspoons Moon under Water for a cheeky pint

Corbieres 5pm .. pint and free pizza

Northern Quarter for a bar crawl

Museums: MOSI or Manchester Museum

Galleries: Manchester Art Gallery

Unusual: John Rylands Library

Meetups: no clubs in town, you'll need to travel for club nights.

Places to avoid:

Market Street - unless you want to sign up to British Gas, whilst having your soul saved and having your eardrums ruined by terrible singers.

Piccadilly Gardens after hours. Dodgy as fuck.

Arndale, if you've got a city near you ... Arndale is full of the same shops.
