It's a bit of a trek but well worth it, very beautiful.

Was quite a regular a few years ago until knee problem slowed me up, as said 'quite a trek' so worth making a day of it. Sand when tide is out, plenty of rocks, pebbles and bushes as well. Can be busy on hot weekends.

Does anyone have recent experience? Going by a recent google review it seems that recent rock fall has caused problems with access to the sea/ places to rest on the beach. Is this true or still worth the hike down.

This used to be a lovely stretch of beach so hoping it’s still that way

I've been this week.

The beach still has access, there's makeshift steps cut into a very steep cliff/slope & a rope to help but you need to be fairly mobile.

Plenty of people still use the beach both weekdays & weekends where it can be very busy, a mix of textile walkers, families, nudists, couples & voyeuristic/cruising men in the woods above the beach.

Well worth a visit on a sunny day.

Yes it’s pretty good considering the land shift. If your fit you can get down the short bank in the cliff and the paths are well trodden. Busy on warm weekends with a mix of sexualities. Well worth the trip
