Bank holiday weekend and it might even be sunny. So off for a drive down to Studland beach to catch some sun. Anyone been yet this year?

0.6 mile walk from Ferry Road, entrance next to a bus stop on the road leading away from the ferry. No payment to park. No camping or barbecues, lovely beach close to the sandy shore. No facilities but visitor centre close to Knoll Beach Hotel and toilets at ferry terminal.The ferry is excellent,£6.26 cashless saves long drive round Isle of Purbeck on narrow windy roads. Added bonuses of Harry's Rock, a sea stack plus Corfe Castle.

I can really recommend the Knoll Beach Hotel as a great place to stay about 2.5 miles from the nudist beach if you're not a local and enjoy the quaint ferry which saves a lot of time.
