Hi, so, going west from studland you have Ringstead bay, parking and toilets, bit of a walk but flat(facing the sea go left) pebbles, we like it there.

Next is Seaton (Devon) again left hand side down the mouth of the river ,some roadside parking, again pebbles, we were there Saturday.

Then its Weston mouth, very quiet pebbles beach, one hell of a walk, park at the donkey sanctuary.

Then its Budleigh salterton, pebbles but flat walk park in the town, normally busy,we like it there easy to get into the sea.

Then your onto slapton sands, only went once to check it out on a wet day so no experience.then your into Cornwall and the only one we have been to is downderry, sandyish, left hand side walk until you see a rocky outcrop then its the other side, wasn't busy when we went.

Xx

We would second Weston Mouth. There is a small amount of parking at the top in the village. It’s a very long walk down but excellent when you get there. Make sure you’re self sufficient though as there’s nothing there and it’s a long walk back up the hill to the car if you forget anything 😭. Have fun. S(m)

Studland is the best of all - wonderful naturist sandy beach , warm sea in which to swim naked and lots of fun to be had in the dunes . May I come and say hello ?

Sunny SouthWest

Torquay has one at Petitor and past Brixham towards Kingswear there’s one at Scabbacombe. Both are quite a trek/ climb. Between Start Point and Plymouth there are also several, but Slapton is the best in Devon…

East Devon & London

We prefer Slapton of all the Devon Beaches, it’s stunning and as a designated naturist beach isn’t subject to tutting textiles walking the beach.

Coffee hut and toilets by the car park, then head left past the prude nudes as far as you dare.

Fantastic light, quiet, clear water and like minds. What’s not to like?

Some photos on our profile.

Enjoy!

Got our general plan sorted:

w/b 2/8 Brighton ( BGHS); Chichester ( Selsey); Swanage ( Studland)

w/b 9/8 Lyme Regis ( Seaton); Sidmouth (Weston); Budleigh Salterton

w/b 16/8 Salcombe ( Slapton)

All weather dependent of course.

Happy to hear any further tips and ideas

Thought selsey had been built over, on the other hand, church Norton in the same area is a lovely peaceful, semi-official beach. Walk from the free car park to the beach and turn left

We visit downderry for holidays.

Depending on the weather it can get active is the best way to put it. Its a large area so it can be suprising how many are actually there.

We have an old cottage so it never gets that hot inside thankfully. We’ve been living Mediterranean style and keeping the doors and windows shut, and curtains closed, during the day to keep the heat out 🌞

Did you do the trip and which beaches did you visit. We're trying to plan a route for this month. So far Slapton, vault and perran seem to be recommended most. Think slapton will definitely be one as we prefer the quieter beaches with little passing traffic. Any suggestions appreciated and to give an idea we were not to keen on studland as it seemed to have a continuous stream of families and textiles walking past, which didn't feel right.
